I'm inviting all local residents to a special event hosted by myself and SNP MSP for Glasgow Kelvin Sandra White to find out how they can stay warm this winter.
This special winter surgery is being held at Community Central Halls on Friday 7th December and will provide information on how to stay safe, warm and secure during the colder months.
Experts from a wide range of organisations will be on hand to give advice and answer any questions that people may have. Residents will be able to speak to representatives from Glasgow North West Citizens Advice Bureau, Home Energy Scotland, Warm Works, SSE Energy, Age Scotland, Scottish Power, Community Safety Glasgow, Queens Cross Housing Association and many more, including Housing Options Scotland and One Parent Families Scotland. Free tea and coffee will be available.
This winter surgery is a great chance to get more information and advice about what support there is this during these colder months and an opportunity to speak to organisations and experts directly. We all know the winter months can be difficult and it’s important that constituents know where to access support if needed and get help with any issues they may be having.
The special winter surgery will be open to all local residents in Glasgow North and Glasgow Kelvin from 10:00 – 14:00 on Friday 7h December, 2018.
